Losing Weight Is Hard…But Achievable
Ahh, to lose weight…it’s an ongoing problem that many people have, myself included. I joined this company about five years ago and I’ve probably been on a diet at least a dozen times. My colleagues have all been on diets usually around New Year’s time. We’ve even had bets to see who could lose the most weight. What is it about diets that fail? Is it our inability to control our indulgence? Is that piece of chocolate cake really worth the agony and pain of dieting?
There are many reasons why diets always seem to come and go. We live in America and here it’s all about excess and having plenty of things. I vacationed to Europe a few months ago and meals are literally 1/3 the size. On top of that, Europeans walk all over the place. It’s not about cars and being lazy. People walk here, there, and everywhere.
Losing weight is difficult but it’s more than achievable. I think people can do it themselves…even without paying for a diet plan. Really, you can. Just control your portions, exercise a little more, and see how it goes. I’m convinced you’ll lose a few pounds.
If you have to lose more than a few pounds, I’d consider a meal replacement program. These work wonders for those needing to lose more than 10 pounds. Nutrisystem is great…so are Medifast and eDiets Deliciously Yours. You really can’t go wrong with any of these.
I tip my hat off to those who have come here to lose weight. Half the battle is knowing that you need to change your eating habits, the other half of the battle is going through with it and joining a weight loss program of some sort.
