How It Works
The eDiets Meal Delivery Plan - known as Deliciously Yours - promotes its weight loss service to the masses and suggests that losing 10 pounds in 5 weeks is very feasible. Pricing varies depending on the foods you select. At the minimum, clients can begin their diet program for as little as $15.95 per day. This is approximately $500 per month which is about the middle ground when it comes to home delivery programs. It is almost double the price of Nutrisystem ($300/month) but half the price of Zone Chefs Delivery ($1,000/month).
Pros and Cons
Pros: Deliciously Yours by eDiets offers a broad selection of dietary preferences including low sodium, low fat, low cholesterol, carb-controlled, or heart smart. The wide range of programs is certainly a positive for this weight loss program. Shipping meals directly to your house is also a nice convenience particularly for those in the working world. Rather than trying to stay disciplined at the fast food drive-thru, you are now able to pick and choose your meals from a company that specializes in diet and nutrition.
Cons: While this diet program offers a variety of plans, such services don’t come cheap - you are looking at paying between $149 per week to $249 per week depending on the program. This may be too much for the average dieter looking to lose weight. For those on a lower budget, we recommend Nutrisystem or Medifast - two weight loss plans that are half the price. However, if you’ve got the budget you may want to give Deliciously Yours a try. The food is more plentiful and arguably more delicious than other companies.
